How do bookmarks work?

When you bookmark a document, a small text file known as a cookie is placed on your device acting as a memory for your browser. Why have my bookmarks disappeared?

There are a number of reasons why your bookmarks may have disappeared.

  • We have deleted the document that you have bookmarked as it has been updated or is no longer applicable.

  • You have deleted all your cookies. Cookies on your device help store information about the documents that you bookmark.
