Our Faith & Religious Character

Manifold C.E. Academy is a very proud Anglican school which cherishes its links to St. Lawrence's Church, the Longnor Benefice, TMPF Trust’s RE and Collective Worship network, the Trust’s sister schools, and the Diocese of Lichfield. Although the church is currently interregnum, we are delighted to continue to support our journey of faith. The vison of the school is: With faith and hope, take flight and flourish and our theologically-rooted vision is inspired by:

'But those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.'

Isaiah 40:31

At Manifold C.E. Academy follows the teachings of Christ by living out strong values in the heart of our local community and growing in faith and hope together. Children build a strong foundation for their life together here.

SIAMS

The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England. SIAMS explores ways in which each school’s theologically-rooted Christian vision drives its work and enables the school to live up to its foundation as a Church school.

'The Christian vision of the school reflects the experiences of its pupils. It promotes a caring ethos where they feel safe and supported. This leads to positive relationships throughout the community, enabling them to flourish.'

(SIAMS, 2024)

Lichfield Diocese

School are proud to be part of the Diocese of Lichfield and embrace the support of the Diocese and the way in which this can help our pupils and staff to flourish.
