Our Faith & Religious Character

St Peter's C.E. First School is a very proud Anglican school which cherishes its links to the Uttoxeter Area Parish, TMPF Trust’s RE and Collective Worship network, the Trust’s sister schools, and the Diocese of Lichfield. The vison of the school is: Peace, Joy, Service, Hope, Love, Justice, Faith, and our theologically-rooted vision is inspired by:

"You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church."

Matthew 16:18

At St Peter's C.E. First School, we aim to provide a safe and caring Christian community rooted in Christ’s love. We believe that happy children achieve, succeed and overcome life’s challenges. We value everyone as a child of God and believe that each one of us has the ability to achieve our highest potential by living and learning in the fullness of God.

SIAMS

The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England. SIAMS explores ways in which each school’s theologically-rooted Christian vision drives its work and enables the school to live up to its foundation as a Church school.
