Our Faith & Religious Character
St John's C.E. Primary School is a very proud Anglican school in the small parish of Wetley Rocks in the Staffordshire Moorlands. The school cherishes its links to St. John the Baptist Church, TMPF Trust’s RE and Collective Worship network, the Trust’s sister schools, and the Diocese of Lichfield. The vison of the school is: Shine like the star you are, and our theologically-rooted vision is inspired by:
At St John's C.E. Primary School, our vision is to develop within ourselves an understanding of what is right and fair, and to have the strength to face challenges and do the right thing. To be people of hope. To celebrate individuality. To nurture and respect ourselves, others and the world in which we live. To be the best we can be.

SIAMS
The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England. SIAMS explores ways in which each school’s theologically-rooted Christian vision drives its work and enables the school to live up to its foundation as a Church school.
‘At St. John’s Church of England Primary School, the Christian vision is not just a statement, it is a lived experienced. Adults and pupils alike are encouraged to ‘Shine like the star you are’, fostering a culture of mutual support, compassion and shared growth.’
