Our School

St John's C.E. Primary School is a lovely school in the small Parish of Wetley Rocks in the Staffordshire Moorlands, which is full of amazing children! The school is very proud of its close relationship with the local church and indeed to represent the Church of England.

St John's C.E. Primary School consists of a team of dedicated, talented staff who work hard to provide children with a quality education and a range of extra-curricular clubs and exciting opportunities. St John's C.E. Primary School is a a proud member of The Moorlands Primary Federation (TMPF Trust) Multi Academy Trust.

Our Christian Character

As a proudly Anglican school, St John's C.E. Primary School cherishes its links to St. John the Baptist Church, TMPF Trust’s RE and Collective Worship network, the Trust’s sister schools, and the Diocese of Lichfield. The vison of the school is: Shine like the star you are, and our theologically-rooted vision is inspired by:

'You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl, instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven'.
(Matthew 5:14-16)
